The Vaclav Havel Library Foundation wishes to express its solidarity with Ukraine. Czechs and Slovaks very well remember the Russian invasion of 1968 and the fact that Russian tanks stayed in Czechoslovakia for twenty long years. We stand with the democratic world in unity in the face of an open military aggression on a sovereign country. Our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with the heroic people of Ukraine and the brave anti-war protestors in Russia.
