Save-the-date_havel_postJoin us for a celebration of the power of words, human rights, and theater. Together, we will mark Havel Day with colleagues and friends from Havel’s ‘homefelt’ institutions in the city – Public Theater, New York Review of Books, Columbia University, and others.

Additionally, we will showcase the art and writings of a younger generation of artists and activists, who have been inspired and encouraged by Havel’s ideas and life.

Vaclav Havel Library Foundation honors, preserves, and builds upon the legacy of playwright, dissident, and former President of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic, Vaclav Havel.
