Internship

Intern / Volunteer Position

The Vaclav Havel Library Foundation (VHLF) is seeking a creative intern / volunteer to assist the Executive Director with the preparation of website information, working with social media, archival and web research, and occasional events. The ideal candidate should be interested in the areas of human rights, politics, Eastern European history and theater, as well as the management of a start-up nonprofit.

VHLF is a nonprofit organization established in the United States to honor, preserve, and build upon the legacy of playwright, dissident, and President Vaclav Havel. We complement the Vaclav Havel Library in Prague by organizing access to unique materials documenting Havel’s accomplishment and network in North America.

As compensation, we offer the introduction to the exciting Bohemian National Hall community, to our distinguished Board members, and to the Prague Havel Presidential Library.

Hours are flexible, however, we prefer commitment to at least 8 hours per week for a minimum of 2 months. This is an ongoing opportunity. The intern / volunteer can start working immediately.

Please send a letter of interest and your resume to info@havelcenter.org
